yes - let's ride together. Maybe I can meet you somewhere - do the toll road exits have park and ride lots?

Might be cool to be setting with everyone else when folks come in and then remotely start a Voki introduction from both of us?

I added some stuff for the presentation.
If you want me to actually add it in the PowerPoint...let me know.
I plan to make a Cheat Sheet on "How to Create a quick and easy Vodcast"
Talk to you Monday,
David

Hey - the first draft of our presentation is posted. The items in red need your attention - you can just send me the files if you want and I'll figure out what to do next. After we get this complete (deadline is July 15 but I'm leaving for another trip out to see mother-in-law ion VA next Wednesday) I'll convert it to a handout; you said your office can print 70 copies for us. We also need a wizard's hat and a witche's hat and maybe a magic wand or two.

cool - thanks for going over it; I get to where I can't "see" the details anymore. I'll fix that paragraph and then submit it.

I added the revised paper. The highlighted part needs some work but I'm burnt out at the moment and can't really think. The paragraph is too long and confusing...
Thanks,
DW

Hey, by the way....is there a way to change these wiki sites so that the most recent comments are on top?

ok - I think we are there; I changed the title to the title of your paper, and sprinkled some references to it into the description and objective.

I'm going to ask Stuart for some names; he generally knows a lot of the people in the field. I'll pass them on to you.

good - we'll use this for the paper we have to write if we get accepted; we'll want some more recent references too.

I've attached a pdf file of the new draft, after our comments on the research - you'll see multiple references now to our won research as well as to a literature review we'll put together about computer-mediated education; if our proposal is accepted, we have to write and submit a 3-5 page professional paper by the end of May.

If you give me your bio and a brief description of how you are using this stuff I'll pound this out real quickly. No problem. And I''ll be sitting in front of my computer all day on Monday. Regards, Worth

Worth:
I'm working all weekend on school stuff...I have three courses to develop and I need to get this proposal completed. I see it is due by Tuesday the 20th at 4:00pm. Will you be working from home on Monday...just in case we need to touch base?
I'm thinking I'll copy/past all of our notes on one WORD Document unless you've already done this?
Talk to you soon,
David

and we need a 60 word "promotional" description - here's a start:
Two veteran Internet instructors describe and document their success in using vodcasting, podcasting, and voice-over pdf documents to mediate the coolness and remoteness often experienced between teachers and students in distance learning courses. They also demonstrate how such simple technologies can reduce the workload for instructors and improve student satisfaction and achievement.

how about this for the title - it needs to be 10 words:

I've begun a very rough draft - I thought you could add several paragraphs about what you are doing then I'll add some of what I'm doing and then I can figure out a way to blend the intro with the body of the proposal. I still need to study the submission documents - I assume we'll do a 45 minute information session.
